In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected approximately 12.9 million people, and there have been over 263,000 deaths.  According to the New York State Department of Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 620,199 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there have been 26,549 deaths statewide.  As of 3:20 p.m. on November 26, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:


Confirmed Cases:  1,013    (39 new)

Recovered Cases:  773

COVID-19 Related Deaths:  42 (Depending on reporting times and agencies, this figure may vary between different reports.)

Total Quarantined/Isolated to Date:  4,921

Released from Quarantine/Isolation: 3,872

Currently Quarantined/Isolated:  1,049

Precautionary Travel Quarantines to Date:  1,310

Total COVID-19 Antibody Tests Given:  867

Total COVID-19 Antibody Positives:  49
