COVID-19 Statistic Update

In the United States, the COVID-19 virus has infected approximately 13 million people, and there have been over 264,000 deaths.  According to the New York State Department of Health COVID-19 tracker, there have been 628,375 confirmed COVID-19 cases, and there have been 26,588 deaths statewide.  As of 2:30 p.m. on November 27, Allegany County’s statistics are as follows:

  • Confirmed Cases:  1,043    (30 new)
  • Recovered Cases:  797
  • COVID-19 Related Deaths:  42 (Depending on reporting times and agencies, this figure may vary between different reports.)
  • Total Quarantined/Isolated to Date:  4,986
  • Released from Quarantine/Isolation: 3,947
  • Currently Quarantined/Isolated:  1,039
  • Precautionary Travel Quarantines to Date:  1,310
  • Total COVID-19 Antibody Tests Given:  872
  • Total COVID-19 Antibody Positives:  50
