ACCORD Business department will be hosting an application assistance session on Friday, September 24th at 12pm for the Pandemic Small Business Recovery Grant. The session will be held at ACCORD’s main office at 84 Schuyler St., Belmont. There will be 7 spots available for the session and will be on first come, first serve basis.
The Small Business Recovery Grant Program will provide funding to small/micro businesses, small for-profit independent arts, and cultural organizations to help them recover from the economic impact of the pandemic. Priority will be given to socially and economically disadvantaged business owners, including minority- and women-owned business enterprises, service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, veteran-owned businesses, and businesses located in economically distressed communities. This is a grant, any funding that is received will not have to be paid back.
Grants will be for a minimum award of $5,000 and a maximum award of $50,000. The award will be calculated based on a New York State business’ annual gross receipt for 2019. Reimbursable COVID-19 related expenses will be calculated from the start date of March 1st, 2020.
ACCORD will be working with the 7 clients on a personal level, guiding them through their application hands on. You will be asked to bring the required documentation in order to fill out the application in full. The list of required documents is listed below.
