Victim Assistance

Victim Assistance

Victim Services is an area which has been prioritized throughout the State, and which traditionally is provided by outside agencies. Through a Grant from the New York State Crime Victim’s Program, The District Attorney’s Office was able to add our own, in house, Victim Services Coordinator at no cost to the County. Mrs. Shannon Ozzella serves in this position, and brings to our office many years of direct service experience in Allegany County. She has made a very positive impact on the treatment of victims and witnesses who become entangled in the criminal justice system.
