Regional Campaign Targeting Canadian Tourists

The Tourism industry offers an incredible economic engine for any community, county or region. The Office of Tourism for Allegany County, New York is announcing its participation in a leadership role in a regional campaign including Allegany, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Wyoming Counties targeting domestic and international tourism.

A primary focus will be on domestic as well as International /cross border transient and extended stay tourists. An immediate initiative will be a major campaign targeting Canadian tourists.

This press conference will feature the economic benefits of tourists to every business from the smallest to the largest. Research and information affecting businesses, attractions or organizations promoting services will discover benefits that directly affect their bottom line. Tax paying residents will learn how every purchase from a car stopping for gas to those visiting Allegany, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Wyoming counties on vacation in the “The Great Outdoors” generates revenue directly to the County. Existing and new hospitality facilities under development will make Allegany County an attraction to one of the most affluent concentrations of potential tourists on the planet, the Province of Ontario.
