1.      Vice Chairman O’Grady called the meeting to order at 2:08 p.m.

 

2.      A motion was made by Legislator Healy, seconded by Legislator Curran and carried approving the minutes of July 6, 2011.

 

3.      A motion was made by Legislator Healy, seconded by Legislator Hopkins and carried requesting a resolution be prepared for the following transfer to cover the purchase of tools for Buildings and Grounds in order to complete extra workload and construction projects.

Buildings & Grounds

            A1620.201 – Regular Pay                           $5,000.00

 

To:

Buildings & Grounds

            A1620.202 – Tools                                       $5,000.00

 

COUNTY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE RESOLUTION

4.      A motion was made by Legislator Hopkins, seconded by Legislator Healy and carried to bid the sand and salt hauling for the 2012-2013 Snow & Ice Season. 

 

5.      Mr. Roeske advised the Committee the Transit Bridge Replacement project on County Route 16 is ahead of schedule and should be open in December.  Mr. Roeske also stated the County Route 13 Bridge in Canaseraga is on schedule and is slated to be open by Labor Day.

 

6.      A motion was made by Legislator Curran, seconded by Legislator McGraw and carried requesting a “Resolution authorizing the Filing of an Application for a State Grant-In-Aid for a Municipal Waste Reduction and/or Recycling Project and Signing of the associated State Contract, Under the Appropriate Laws of New York State for 2009-2012”.  Under this grant the County could receive up to 50% reimbursement on Capital purchases used for the Recycling Program.  COUNTY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE RESOLUTION

 

7.      A motion was made by Legislator Curran, seconded by Legislator Hopkins and carried requesting a “Resolution authorizing the Filing of an Application for a State Grant-In-Aid for a Municipal Waste Reduction and/or Recycling Project and Signing of the associated State Contract, Under the Appropriate Laws of New York State for 2012-2015”. Under this grant the County could receive up to 50% reimbursement on Capital Purchased used for the Recycling Program.  COUNTY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE RESOLUTION

11. A motion was made by Healy, seconded by Legislator Curran and carried to adjourn the meeting at 2:20 p.m.
