Public Safety Committee Chairman Dwight “Mike” Healy called the meeting to order at 2:35 p.m.

Executive Session

A motion was made at 2:36 p.m. by Legislator Hopkins, seconded by Legislator Burdick to go into Executive Session for attorney/client purposes to discuss issues regarding a legal contract. Immediately following discussion, a motion was made by Legislator Burdick, seconded by Legislator Hopkins to end the executive session at 2:50 p.m. and return to the regular meeting.

Bids for Radio Tower

A motion was made by Legislator Healy, seconded by Legislator Burdick and carried to secure bids to place a tower and equipment on Pingrey Hill Road in the Town of Andover. This tower and equipment is necessary to satisfactorily integrate into the county’s radio communications upgrade under the PSIC Grant. This authorization is to include various financing options as supplied by the vendor. The County Administrator and his designee are authorized to open the bids.

Adjournment

There being no further business to come before the committee, a motion was made by Legislator Hopkins, seconded by Legislator Burdick and carried to adjourn the meeting at 2:56 p.m.
