Ways & Means Committee Chairman Theodore Hopkins called the meeting to order at 1 p.m.

Acceptance of Insurance Recovery Check

Clerk of the Board Brenda Rigby Riehle requested a resolution accepting a check in the amount of $200 from NYMIR (New York Municipal Insurance Reciprocal) representing the cost to replace a windshield on a 2007 Ford Focus (#8130) assigned to the Health Department. The damage was sustained when a rock was thrown by the car ahead and hit the windshield on Friendship Hill in Scio on October 5, 2010. The funds should be appropriated to CS1931.429 (Risk Retention – Uninsured Property Loss) with a like sum placed in revenue account CS07.2680.00 (Insurance Recovery). The request was approved on a motion by Legislator Healy, seconded by Legislator Sinclair and carried. Prepare Resolution

Audit

Committee members reviewed the November 22, 2010, audit of claims in the amount of $4,388,891.18 (including prepaid bills). A motion was made by Legislator Healy, seconded by Legislator Fanton and carried to forward the audit to the full Board for approval of payment.

Adjournment

There being no further business to come before the committee, a motion was made by Legislator Fanton, seconded by Legislator Pullen and carried to adjourn the meeting at approximately 1:05 p.m.
