The Allegany County Office for the Aging, NY Connects Allegany County and the Allegany County Veterans Agency are now centrally located at the above address.  For the convenience of the community we serve, our new facility is accessible to all individuals and is a stop on the new  Allegany County Bus Routes!

The Allegany County Office for the Aging provides expert information and assistance to older individuals and their caregivers to maintain dignity, respect and independence.  there are more than 9,000 people 60 years of age and over in Allegany County.

Nurturing Livable Communities Survey- 2014-2017 CPA Strategic Plan Update

As follow-up to the Tuesday, July 22, 2014, Community Partnership on Aging meeting, data gathering and updates to the Allegany County Community Partnership on Aging Strategic Plan are underway. As part of this process, CPA members have agreed to distribute information regarding the on-line community needs assessment for older adults located at: Allegany County Nurturing Livable Communities Survey.

 There are several ways to distribute the survey; including:    

o   Post the link on your agency’s website prompting visitors to participate
o
   Like Allegany/Western Steuben Rural Health Network on Facebook and Share our post from today, 7.25.14
o
   Email the Allegany County Nurturing Livable Community Survey link to your distribution lists, co-workers and family/friends
o
   Print the survey and have copies available at clinics, worksites, meetings, etc.
